Daily Freeman – 8.16.14 – by William J. Kemble – “Woodstock Library officials are hopeful that animosity over expansion plans does not spill over to defeat a proposed $584,596 budget for 2015. The spending plan carries a 2.42 percent increase of $13,842.”
“Also on the ballot will be four candidates, with the top two receiving five-year terms and the third a four-year term seat to fill a vacancy. Petitions have been filed by incumbent Jesse Jones, incumbent Dorothea Marcus, incumbent Caroline Ritchey and newcomer Martin Nystrom.”
