Voters approve budgets for area libraries
Daily Freeman – 9.16.20 – “Kingston Library received 129-12 approval of a 2021 budget that has the property tax levy unchanged at $916,455.”
“The West Hurley Library did not have a budget on the ballot, with officials saying it wasn’t necessary because there was no change in the property tax levy at $221,954. The spending plan was at $228,404 2021 for a 0.61 percent decrease of $1,400.”
“The Stone Ridge Library received 35-0 approval of a $277,964, which is unchanged from the 2020 spending plan. incumbents Incumbent Trustees Robert Miraldi and Susanne Warren were re-elected to four-year terms.”
Three candidates were elected in Kingston, West Hurley, and Stone Ridge.
