Woodstock Library turns 100
Woodstock Times – 7.4.13 – by Paul Smart – There is a new exhibit at the Woodstock Historical Society Museum on the Comeau property, Woodstock Builds a Library: Past, Present and Future — 1913-2013.
“According to [current library director] Raff, the big celebratory items this 100th summer of the library will be highlighted by a larger, more nostalgic Library Fair than usual, on Saturday, July 27; a cute silent auction for hand-stitched aprons being made by several dozen sewers and artists around town, several fun minor events in and outside of the library…and most importantly, the debut of the Woodstock Library’s big new annex plans, set to be approved by the library’s Board of Trustees in August, cost-estimated, and presented to the public in September.”
