Woodstock Library annex proposal exempt from zoning rules

Kemble – “The Town Board has approved a memorandum of understanding acknowledging that the Woodstock Library’s plan for an annex does not have to follow local zoning regulations.” The memorandum protects the town from being sued. “[Supervisor Jeremy] Wilber said the Woodstock Library doesn’t need to follow town zoning requirements because it is considered a municipal taxing jurisdiction.”
